When to book

Ideally you should book your massage on a day where you have little to do. After the massage it is important to be able to relax and not have to worry about getting jobs done. Often people feel lethargic and sleepy afterwards and having a bath is a better way to get the most out of your massage than rushing around to run errands. If you do need to plan things around your massage, allow yourself at least 15 minutes either side of the booking in order for you to change clothes, and in the case of a mobile massage for the table to be set up and put away.

Clothing & discretion

A specific towel technique is used whilst you unchanged and redress for your complete discretion. I would advise wearing your most comfortable underwear.

For men, if you have booked a leg or full body massage please wear boxer shorts. Towels can be tucked into them preventing any avoid any oil spillage- which would stain shorts.

For women, you will be required to remove your bra if having a back or full body massage. If preferred this can be done whilst face down on the massage table.

If you are having a massage at home leave a dressing gown handy to put on after the massage to avoid getting any oil onto your clothes.

Aftercare

It is important to drink plenty of water after the massage. This will help your body to flush out toxins and also prevent you from feeling lethargic. Ideally you should eat plenty of fruit and vegetables and avoid any stimulants such as caffeine or nicotine during the hours that follow, giving yourself the best possible detoxing experience.
