It is important to drink plenty of water after the massage. This will help your body to flush out toxins and also prevent you from feeling lethargic. If it is a sunny day outside, ensure that all of the oil is removed before sunbatheing- it may seem obvious but the oil will encourage your skin to burn.
During the hours that follow
Ideally you should eat plenty of fruit and vegetables and avoid any stimulants such as caffeine or nicotine, giving yourself the best possible detoxing experience. If possible try to take things easy: Why not have a bath or put on some relaxing music?
